The president is a frequent title for the head of state in most republics. In politics, president is a title given to leaders of republican states.
The functions exercised through a president range according to the shape of government. In parliamentary republics, they are limited to these of the head of state, and are thus largely ceremonial. In presidential and Semi-Presidential republics, the position of the president is greater prominent, encompassing additionally (in most cases) the features of the head of government. In authoritarian regimes, a dictator or chief of a one- of the satae itself will not be blamed for those kind of vocational training
